City Authorities

The Pilsen City Assembly

The Assembly of the City of Pilsen is the highest governing body in the city and is authorized to decide on all matters pertaining to the independent authority of the City of Pilsen. Pilsen City representatives are elected in accordance with election laws. There are 47 representatives of the City of Pilsen.

The Pilsen City Council

The Council is the acting authority of the City of Pilsen in the area of its independent authority (self-administration) and also decides on all matters that are not reserved for the Council by law or by statute of the City of Pilsen or for other city authorities where not designated to the city districts by statute or other legal regulations of the city.

The Council has 11 members from the Assembly of the City of Pilsen (mayor, 3 deputy mayors, 7 council members).
