Pilsen Ticket
The Pilsen Ticket serves as an electronic wallet designated only for transfer ticket purchase in the Public Transport vehicles. It serves as a non-personalised equivalent of the Pilsen Card, the card is transferable, and thus you can lend it to your friends and family. The Pilsen Ticket is not registered in the Pilsen Card system, therefore, it cannot be blocked in case of loss and, similarly, it is not possible to issue a duplicate with a copy of the original card.
How to use Public Transport
Public Transport travel – non-transfer ticket
Public Transport travelling is very simple. The only thing to do is to purchase a ticket (for example, via a vending machine or at contractual partners – newsagents´ shops or tobacconists, etc.). One can also purchase a ticket from the driver in the carriage for 30 CZK.
Public Transport travel – transfer ticket
One can also use a one-day paper ticket for comfortable transfer travelling for 60 CZK (purchased via vending machines only) or for 70 CZK (at contractual partners – newsagents´ shops or tobacconists, etc.). Another option is to purchase a ticket directly in the PCTC carriages via the electronic wallet of the chip card called the Pilsen Ticket. It is possible to purchase the card for 300 CZK (with 200 CZK electronic cash) or 600 CZK (with 500 CZK electronic cash). The basic fare for a single ticket is 16 CZK, for a one-day ticket 60 CZK.
